En-Touch
"I would like to give a special thanks to your service technicians for doing such a wonderful job. I have never experienced so much professionalism and experience from cable technicians ever! They were so helpful and gave me a peace of mind for being with En-Touch. They went above and beyond connecting everything and explaining everything to me. Thank you for having quality people working for you."

August 13, 2008: Coles Crossing Scam Warning

We have been made aware of door-to-door sales efforts of a local security company, representing themselves as En-Touch employees. These sales representatives are requesting access to residents alarm systems and/or requesting to install equipment. We have reports of them asking a resident to sign a contract.

Please keep these things in mind if you are approached by a sales representative:

  • Unless you have a scheduled appointment with En-Touch, we will not come to your door and request access to your security equipment. It is not recommended that you allow anyone inside your home that did not have a scheduled appointment.
  • We do not require term contracts unless there are extenuating circumstances. Please do not sign a contract that is presented by anyone claiming to be an En-Touch representative unless it is at a scheduled appointment with us and there is a clear reason to sign a contract.
  • En-Touch technicians that are authorized to support or troubleshoot your alarm services will always wear an En-Touch shirt, have an identification badge, and drive a company vehicle with the En-Touch logo and Texas Alarm License number on it.
  • If you are speaking with one of our sales representatives at an event or at any place in the community, please know that they will never request access to your security system or any of the other services to which you subscribe.
  • En-Touch will only bill you for work performed by one of our technicians. Again, there is always a scheduled appointment for installation of equipment by our technicians.
If approached by an unlicensed company, residents are urged to contact their local police department or the Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau, at 512-424-7710. If residents have already fallen victim to an unlicensed alarm salesperson, they should file a report with the Texas Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Hotline, at 1-800-621-0508.
